St. Dominic’s College is situated at Podimattom, 4 K.M. to the east of Kanjirappally alongside the N.H. 220 (Old K.K.Road). The campus sprawls over 25 acress of green land.

The College is run by the St.Dominic’s Cathedral Church Kanjirappally. Our college started in 1965 and now stands as one of the excellent educational institutions in the district of Kottayam.

Kanjirappally is a taluka and one of the main town in Kottayam district. Rubber plantations are a major source of income for the local population. Although Kottayam district is known for its lakes and waterways, Kanjirappally is land-locked. The people of Kanjirappally are known for their spirit of enterprise, generosity, hospitality and nobility.

The beautiful Ninar Mosque, Ganapathy Koil built in granite 200 years ago and the old Roman Catholic church, Known as “Pazhaya Palli” attracts a lot of believers. All these famous places are located around our St.Dominic’s College.

St. Dominic’s college is providing the best education for the people from Erumeli, Ponkunnam, Chemmalamattam, Manimala, Mundakkayam and even from faraway hi-range area. Our College is the only one in the State of Kerala, which provides courses on Rubber Techenologies.

DOMINIANS, the alumni of the St.Dominic’s College started in Dubai 2 years ago and now has a registered membership of 200.
